Raymond Torricelli

Raymond Louis Torricelli born June 14, 1956, passed away peacefully in the Villages Florida after a long and courageous battle with several health issues. He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. Raymond lived a life defined by devotion and an unwavering love for his family.
Born to Anthony and Micheline (Dubois) Torricelli of New Rochelle, NY. Raymond grew up in a close-knit Italian-American household where faith, family, and hard work shaped his character and work ethic. He graduated from New Rochelle High School before beginning his career as an electrician and a machinist - a job that he looked forward to as long as he was able to work. Raymond enjoyed cars and watching sports on TV especially golf and tennis.
Raymond was married for a time -- and loved his two children very deeply. Stacy and Raymond Joseph, both shared a special bond with their father and deeply mourn his passing. Raymond's happiest and proudest role was that of Father and Grandfather. He is survived by his devoted children, Stacy Casher (and her husband Jose Casher) and Raymond (Joey) Torricelli (and his life partner –Juana Fernandez) -- and by his grandchildren, who were the lights of His life – Cierra and Savanna Casher – and Cecelia and Raymond Joseph (RJ) Torricelli -- to them he was their beloved Pop. Raymond was also survived by his Sisters Jackie and Michelle. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Anthony.
Raymond met his many life challenges with determination and grit, always putting his family first. His love was constant and his dedication was untiring. Raymond had significant resilience in the face of his life-long illness and he was a testament to the strength of the human spirit. May he rest in eternal peace, and be forever held in the hearts of all who knew him.
