Raymond Frank Wallner
age 95, of Park Falls, died on Tuesday November 28, 2023, at Park Manor Rivers Edge Nursing Home in Park Falls. He was born on July 1, 1928, in Park Falls, the son of Frank and Clara (Ertl) Wallner. After graduating high school, Raymond served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. On September 11, 1965, he married Arlene Christian. Raymond worked for the Flambeau Paper Mill most of his life. He was a member of the Park Falls VFW and American Legion Posts. He enjoyed the outdoors, making firewood, feeding his deer, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Arlene of Park Falls, his son James Raymond (Amanda Bohatta) Wallner of Beldenville, his granddaughter Emily and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, (2)brothers: John and Sylvester, and sister Bernadine Garsky.
Funeral services will be held at the Birch Street Funeral Service Chapel in Park Falls on Saturday December 2, 2023, at 11:00am. Deacon Chet Ball will officiate.
Burial with military honors will follow at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls.
A visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
