Flemington, NJ – Raymond "Mick" Ziemba, 79, entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at home with loving family by his side. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, son of the late John and Alice (nee Sadesky) Ziemba, he moved to Ridgefield Park, NJ shortly after marriage and resided there for forty years before settling to Flemington in 2019.
Mick was a graduate of Rutgers University in Newark, NJ, earning an associate's degree. He worked for over twenty years at Enterprise Corrugated Company in Saddle Brook, NJ as vice president of production and retired after many years of dedicated employment at Winebow in Montvale, NJ as a personal assistant. Mick was a devout Catholic and faithful parishioner of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ, where he attended masses regularly. Mick was a member and made lifelong friends while performing with the St. Francis Players Theater Group and later the Incognito Theatre Group both in Ridgefield Park. He loved fishing local streams for trout. As a sports enthusiast, he had a passion for the Boston Red Sox, Notre Dame Football, and the Minnesota Vikings. Mick had a love for so much in life, especially his canine friends. He was a great dad, grandfather, and husband.
Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Lorraine A. (nee Turner) Ziemba with whom he joined hands in holy matrimony on May 15, 1965. He will be missed dearly by three loving children, Raymond Ziemba, Jr. and loving daughter-in-law Nancy of Dumont, NJ, Brian Ziemba and his wife Jennifer of Three Bridges, NJ, and Gregg Ziemba and his wife Paula Chance of Las Vegas, NV; a dear brother, Richard Ziemba and his wife Gail; and five cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Natalie, Adrien, Miranda, and Meghan.
