South Roxana:

Reba Warren, 85, passed away peacefully at 4:06 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Stillwater Senior Living in Edwardsville, Illinois.

Born on July 17, 1939, in Cairo, Illinois, Reba was the daughter of the late George Willard and Lydia Lorene (Wilson) Hack. On July 10, 1957, she married Paul Warren in South Roxana. They shared 67 years of marriage before his passing on July 21, 2024.

Reba is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Tom Whorl of Maryville; her son, Gregory Warren of South Roxana; and her beloved grandchildren: Tyler Whorl, Brad Warren, Stefanie Warren, Hannah Warren, Noah Warren, Faith Warren, Isaiah Warren, and Jeremiah Fariah.

Reba dedicated her life to caring for her family - nothing brought her more joy than spending time with the people she loved. She worked as a medical secretary and bookkeeper, among other roles, and eventually retired after working alongside her husband and son at G.L. Warren Construction.

A woman of strong faith, Reba was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roxana and later attended Crosspoint Church in South Roxana alongside her husband. She had a deep love for gospel music, often found singing in the church choir or playing the organ. She also loved traveling with her husband, shopping with her daughter and decorating for the Holidays.

In addition to her parents and husband, Reba was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathryn Humphrey and Barbara Stewart, and an infant brother, Kenneth Hack.

In celebration of her life, private funeral services were held at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River, with burial following at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.

Memorial donations may be made to Stillwater Senior Living and will be accepted at the funeral home.
