Rebecca Lynn Harris Fowee passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the age of 68. Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Perry Green officiating. Family and friends will meet in the cemetery.
A native of the Troy community, Becky graduated from Charles Henderson High School and earned a degree in criminal justice from Troy University. She began as a dispatcher for the Troy Police Department and worked as an EMT until she went on to be the court administrator for the Municipal Court in Pike County. She retired after 38 years of dedicated service to the City of Troy. Becky was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia and Dan Harris, Jr. She is survived by her devoted brother, Danny Harris and his wife, Sherry as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to her caregiver, Betty Coward, for her kindness and compassion through the years. The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Fowee family.
