Rebecca Ann Johnson Harmon, 59, of Lake Charles passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Harmon was born on January 30, 1965 in Kinder and was raised in Lake Charles where she attended LaGrange High School.
She found joy in the thrill of the casino, the excitement of bingo games, and the convenience of online shopping. Her most cherished times were spent hosting family gatherings and spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, James J. Harmon; children, Wade Doty (Melissa), Koty Doty (Amanda), Krista Cupp (Michael), and Alicia Doty (Dusty); siblings, Christopher Johnson, Benetta Johnson, Elizabeth Wagster, and Billy Johnson; her beloved grandchildren, Hunter Doty, Brooklynn Benoit, Michael Shane Cupp, Trevor Doty, Victoria Cupp, Jasmyn Kirl, and Colton, Gunnar, Beaux, Gauge, and Carter Doty; and her in laws, Napoleon and Betty Harmon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney and Helen Johnson and her son, Courtney Doty.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will begin on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
