Rebecca Young Obituary
Becky is preceded in death by her parents Larry and Agnes Elser, and her brother Daniel "Dan" Elser.
Becky is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary Young of Barling, AR, son Brandon Young of Weatherford, TX, grandchildren Hudson Young, Jax Young and Kennedy Young all of Weatherford, TX, sister Ruth Waits (Bruce) of Tulsa, OK, brother Tom Elser (Sherry) of Fayetteville, AR, who, along with numerous nieces and nephews, all loved her very much.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
A memorial graveside service will be Friday, December 1st at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Becky and I were together from the first day we met in second grade in our little two room school in Barling. We were the only 2 girls in our class for 7 years before going on to high school at St. Scho where we again were together in many classes. We were at each others homes and learned so much from each other - such as how to drive a car (a Plymouth with push buttons instead of a gear shift) and this was Becky's main mode of transportation and I was usually riding shotgun in many an escapade. We often went to the "library" after school and would have a few hours of fun and a little bit of study. One teacher could not keep our names straight and just called both of us "Elsie Becker". So many memories.... Just not sure what to say but it breaks my heart that we lost contact for much too long. Praying that we can again see each other in the next life. Gary, I am so sorry for the pain you must be going through but try to remember all the many laughs and the good times.
