Rebekah Allyn Bushey, age 55, passed away in Colorado Springs at her residence on March 25, 2023.
Rebekah was born on October 26, 1967 in Navato, California. In 1990 earned a BS in Business Administration at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Later in 2005 she earned a BS in Nursing at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Rebekah went on to become a Business Manager, ICU Nurse, DOD Nurse, Nursing Administrator, Chief Nurse Officer in Charge. From 2010-2013 she joined the Army reserves where she earned the title of Lieutenant.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking, home remodeling, animals, being a youth leader, living on 3 continents and visiting over 50 countries. During her time with us she became a treasured daughter, sister, aunt and cousin. And a friend to many around the world.
She is survived by her mother, Charity (Waterman) Bushey of Parker, CO; brothers, Jefferey (Amanda) Bushey of Parker, CO and Mike (Samantha) Bushey Steele of Keller, TX; sister, Rachel (Mike) Remington of Layton, UT ; as well as nieces and nephews Brenna, Coleman, Riley, children of Jefferey and Amanda, Ben Brittan, Ross, Landry, children of Mike and Samantha, Sam, Jesse, Tanner, Hailee, and Megan, children of Rachel and Mike;. as well as 10+ aunts and uncles and many cousins. She has been predeceased by father, Max Bushey, brothers Sam (Kami), and grandparents Roy and Velma Waterman and Harry and Gurna Bushey.
Donations in Rebekah's honor may be made to Breast Cancer Research.
