Jeanette "Jenny" Imhoff, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at her home in Manhattan, Kansas. She was born on July 18, 1952, to parents Stanley and Rosa Lee (Warneking) Imhoff in Superior, Nebraska.

Jenny worked as a French and Spanish teacher and then later worked in the financial department for Kansas State University she also taught English as a second language to grade school kids and adults. She had a Bachelor of Science in Secondary education with majors in French and Spanish. She also took 9 hours of Master's degree course work in teaching English as a Second Language at Fort Hays State. She also did 13 hours of general undergraduate course work and 21 hours of education graduate course work at Kansas State University.

She had a love of teaching, however her first love was the title of mom. Jenny had a passion for her family: grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, daughter Alyssa; languages especially French; birds especially meadowlarks, flowers, gardens, sewing. She loved to travel when she could, and share places she grew up with her daughter and visiting family in fun places. She also loved her dogs Annie and Frankie.

She is survived by her daughter, Alyssa (Jeremiah) Nording, Overland Park, KS; brothers, Larry Imhoff of Philadelphia, PA; Stan (Linda) Imhoff of Norfolk, VA ; and sisters, Kay Imhoff of Springville, TN, and Cindy Thornbure of Suffolk, VA and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral home, Manhattan, Kansas.

Inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, Nebraska.

Memorial contributions may be made to Always and Forever Rescue group in care of Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502
