Reed was born March 17, 1951, in Blackey, Kentucky, to the late Henry and Stella Hampton.
Reed was a kind and simple man who enjoyed spending time with the love of his life Karen Wheeler. He enjoyed going to church, hunting, fishing, and listening to music.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Wednesday October 29, 2025, at Carman Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 PM until 8 PM Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Carman Funeral Home, 2301 Argillite Rd. Flatwoods, Kentucky 41139.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of Carman Funeral Home, 2301 Argillite Road, Flatwoods, Kentucky 41139.
