Regan Clostio

Kaplan-Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan honoring the life of Regan Clostio, 70, who died Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Calcutta House in Lafayette. He will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Deacon Tom Sommers officiating the services.
Born with a sense of duty and a passion for justice, Regan served with distinction in law enforcement throughout his career. Starting as an officer for the Kaplan Police Department where he served for many years, he then went on to become a deputy for the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office.
Beyond his badge and uniform, Regan was very passionate about music. He found joy in the melodies of his guitar, spending countless hours strumming chords and immersing himself in the timeless tunes of his idol, Hank Williams Sr. Music was not just a hobby for Regan, but a source of comfort and inspiration that enriched his life. He leaves behind a melody of memories for his loved ones.
He is survived by his son, Jacob Clostio of Lafayette; his mother, Rosa Belle Clostio of Kaplan; one sister, Charlotte Detraz and her husband, John of Abbeville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jean Melvin Clostio; his sister, Tina Broussard and her husband, Johnny Broussard.
Visiting hours will be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM; Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
