Regina Frierson, age 48, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee.
A memorial service will be held on October 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation: October 11, 2025, at 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral home in Columbia, Tennessee.
Regina was the youngest of three children. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee and made her home in Columbia, Tennessee, where she spent most of her life. Regina attended Columbia Central High School and later worked in manufacturing until her health no longer allowed her to continue.
She loved spending time with her family more than anything laughing, talking, and just being together. She enjoyed playing cards, doing hair for friends and family, and was always ready to dance whenever a good song came on. Her fun, caring spirit brought people together, and she had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and happy.
Some of the best memories with her are filled with laughter. She had a bright, funny personality and could tell a joke that would have everyone cracking up. She loved a good movie night and was perfectly happy staying in, relaxing, and enjoying the simple moments that meant the most. She will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her loving mother, Linda Armstrong; her children, Tierra Porter, Brianna Vance, and Jabari Frierson; and her cherished grandchildren, Machias Pierce, Aubrey Porter, Callen Vance, and Jalen Nance.
Regina was preceded in death by her father Charles Frierson and step-father Raymond Armstrong.
