Reid Wyman was born in Barnstable, MA on April 26, 1975. He attended Barnstable Public Schools most of his life. He graduated from Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA in 1995 and then attended Ithaca College and Cornell University. He worked at the family business, Boston Wyman Inc, aka Burger King of Cape Cod for many years.
Reid was on the BHS golf team. He was part of the Old Colony League Championship team in 1991, with a record of 16-2-1. He was an avid boater, always his dad's first mate. He also loved golfing and was a past member of Cummaquid Golf Club. He was also a former member of the Cape Cod Synagogue.
He was the loving son to Maurice and Cynthia (Rubak) Wyman. Brother to Renee (Wyman) Dowling and her husband Greg. Amazing uncle to two of his favorite people in the whole world, Sean P. and Brenden J. He was also Godfather to Sean.
He loved to go to music festivals and was especially passionate about PHISH.
Reid will also be missed by his cousins Josh,Rachael and Binh Wyman, Nicole Robert, Krystal Eldredge, Corey Russell, Jennifer Russell. Nephew to Michael Wyman and Miriam Wyman and Cheryl Russell.
Reid recently moved to Florida with his parents and continued his lifelong entrepreneurial passions.
Services are scheduled to be held at the Cape Cod Synagogue on Sunday, January 12th @ 12:30pm, 145 Winter Street, Hyannis. Burial immediately following in Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit, MA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Reid's name to Tommy's Place, 481 Main Street, Centerville, MA or The Cape Cod Synagogue.
