Renita R. Laskowski, age 75, of Lake Nebagamon, WI, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, with family by her side.
Renita was born on August 26, 1949, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, to Leonard and Ruth (Sachs) Jazdzewski. On July 4, 1981, she married the love of her life, Mark Laskowski, in Rudolph, WI. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared values.
Renita dedicated many years of service at Consolidated Papers Inc., Wisconsin Rapids Division, retiring as a winder operator. After retirement, she and Mark made their home in Lake Nebagamon, where they enjoyed a quieter life and became active in the local community.
Renita had a generous spirit and a passion for helping others. She spent time volunteering in both Wisconsin Rapids and Lake Nebagamon. During the holiday season, she especially enjoyed buying and giving gifts to those in need. Renita found joy in her garden and love in her kitchen. Her cinnamon rolls were legendary-everyone who tasted them wanted the recipe. She also cherished time outdoors, especially fishing and holding contests with her kids. Above all, she treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, filling their lives with warmth, laughter, and love.
She is lovingly remembered by her three children: Chris (Kimberly) Jazdzewski, Trina (Lance) Jacobson, and Heather (Jarvis) Jacobson; her grandchildren: Jessica (Steve) Krause, Crystal (Daniel) Weiss, Joshua (Andy Sengkhammee) Pavlicek, Brandon (Jenny Zima) Jacobson, Alexis Jacobson, Delaney Jacobson, and Madalyn Jacobson; and her great-grandchildren: Charleigh, Alex, Natalie, Gunnar, Briley, Luca, Arias, and Ciaran.
Renita is also survived by her siblings: Rita (Robert) Light, James (Connie) Jazdzewski, John (Paula) Jazdzewski, Leonard (Tammy) Jazdzewski, Michael Jazdzewski, Brenda (Phillip) Vouers, Leon (Teri) Jazdzewski, Dawn (John) Schuerman, and Jeffery (Muriel) Jazdzewski. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Michael (Doris) Laskowski, Sister-in-laws, Marcia (John) Flammang, Mary Jo (Michael) Polodna, Marlene (John) Fawley, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Ruth Jazdzewski, and her loving husband Mark.
In keeping with Renita's wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Dementia Society of America, Donate | Dementia Society of America® or to the American Stroke Association American Stroke Association.
"Though your hands are no longer here to hold, your love still wraps around us every day. You taught us strength, kindness, and the true power of a mother's love. We carry your spirit in our hearts forever." We love you, Mom. Love always, Chris, Trina, and Heather.
