Retta Carol Guillory

Retta Carol Guillory was born April 8, 1935 in Shawnee Oklahoma to Gordon & Lilly Bell Stewart. The family moved to south Oklahoma City (Capitol Hill district) – Retta graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1953. Retta was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sue Ellen Wilson. Retta is survived by her sister Kay Robertson of Moore Oklahoma.

Retta married Wayne Moss in 1954 and lived in Oklahoma most of her life. Retta has 3 children – Mike Guillory of Louisiana, Jessica Guillory of Oklahoma City and Susie Burke from Ohio. Retta has 4 grandchildren – Michael, Chase, Adam, and Olivia.

Retta worked at the Moore Wal-Mart (both the old and new stores) for 17 years – acquiring Wal-Mart employee and customer friends and enjoyed meeting and going to dinner with them for many years following her retirement.

Retta enjoyed bowling with her mom & dad and her sisters – participating in multiple bowling leagues.

Retta always enjoyed her dogs – most recently Macy and Bree – they provided her much comfort and joy in life.

Retta moved to The Village at Oakwood in Oklahoma City in 2019 and enjoyed several years there in assisted living – attending the Sunday chapel church services, participating in the special activities, and playing board games and card games with her friends while enjoying frequent visitors.
