Rev. Finas Delano Harmon, 88, of Dover, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on Saturday, 29, 2024 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas. was born on July 12, 1935 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late James Lewis Harmon and Anna Margaret Moser. Rev. Harmon was preceded in death by his beloved parents and nine siblings.
He is survived by two siblings Rev. James Harmon and Helen Standridge. Cherishing his memory are his loving wife, Dorthy Janette Harmon; daughter Kiimberly Eoff (Ron); son Tedrick Harmon (Lisa); Shari Nuetzmann (Jeff); 9 grandchildren: Nathan, Jacob, Levi, Jessica, Joshua, Katelynn, ClaireAnna, John, Crystal; 11 great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Cianna, Sadie, Garrett, McKenzie, Kyla, Alayna, Raiden, Ademir, Micah and Jonathan. 2 great-great-grandchildren: Hazel and Everlee.
A man of deep faith and unwavering commitment, Rev. Finas Harmon exemplified grace and dedication to all. Working in his career as a Mechanic for International Harvester many years before retirement.
Also serving as a youth minister, he warmly welcomed young people into his home and garage and outgrowing it quickly, finally acquiring a community center to accommodate there growing in numbers. His passion for the local youth was evident in all that he did.
Known for his green thumb and love for gardening, Rev. Harmon's devotion extended beyond plants to include his family. For an inspiring 69 years of marriage with his devoted wife, he showcased profound love and loyalty that will forever be remembered.
Rev. Finas Delano Harmon will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation for Rev. Harmon will commence at 1pm on Saturday the 6th of July, followed by a service at 2pm at the Russellville Family Funeral Home Chapel.
