Reynolds Cantrell IV, 67, passed away surrounded by his family on June 4, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on July 27, 1956 to Reynolds Cantrell III and Barbara Jean (Spear) Cantrell in Ardmore, OK. He started his high school journey at Putnam City High School and finished it at Seoul American High School in Seoul, Korea. He further attended the University of Maryland Far East Division in Seoul, Korea.
Reynolds married Kristin Ring on August 14, 1989 in Oklahoma City, OK. He retired from Spencer Enterprise as a pier driller after putting in a loyal 33 years of service.
Reynolds was a smart and witty man who enjoyed watching action-packed movies, going to air shows, cooking, camping, shooting guns, starting fires and being surrounded by his family. He loved driving his Camaro, going on small adventures, listening to classic 70's music and playing his guitar. He was a protector and a brave leader.
Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents, Reynolds and Barbara. He is survived by his wife, Kristin Cantrell of Bethany, OK; daughter, Holly of Newcastle, OK; sons, Kelly and Cory of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Kaylee Braxton of Bethany, OK and Kinsey of Newcastle, OK; great-grandchild, Jayce of Bethany, OK; stepmother, Lynda Cantrell of Madison, WI; brothers, David of Tucson, AZ and Bradley of Virginia; sister, Laura of Madison, WI; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was fiercely loved and will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will be conducted June 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, OK. To share a memory or condolence, visit www.mercer-adams.com.
