Rhapsody Braxton Obituary
In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory her maternal grandparents, Daniel Braxton Jr., Mrs. Phyllis E. Braxton, her maternal step-grandmother, pastor, Patricia Braxton, all of Lynchburg; her paternal grandparents, Leroy Spencer of New York, and Mrs. Helen Spencer of Lynchburg; and a host of aunts, uncles, other loving relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at the residence, 1000 Taylor Street, Apt. 1 and at 1803 Georgia Ave.
A celebration for the life of Rhapsody will be conducted at noon Saturday, from Power of God Church of Deliverance, with Pastor Kelso Clark officiating, with Dr. Phillip Elliott, as eulogist.
Interment will be in the Baptist Cemetery. She will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service. The family will also greet their friends at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.
Service are entrusted to the care of Carl B. Hutcherson Funeral Home.

Just sitting here thinking about you and Rhapsody (my sis). Remembering your beauty, happiness and impact on our lives. The miracle and quickness of your birth as well as the sadness and unexpectedness of your passing. I'm sooooo glad I got to know you, hold you, kiss you and enjoy you. But most of all the lessons learned from all of this...I love you RHAPSODY!!!!

My Dearest Rhapsody, I'm probably the first one to sign your guest book, this goes to show you how much i love and care for you. First of all I would like to thank GOD for giving me the awesome oppurtunity to give you a safe and loving home for the time he allowed me to have you. I thank GOD for loaning you to me. It was an honor and a privaledge to have been your caretaker since September 30, 2006. I took care of you as if you were my own child and, in a sense..... you were, i will miss you deeply. Know that your Auntie Noni loves you very much. i still remember your smile, your laugh, food fights, running over my feet in your walker, bath time, naptime, reaching for me because you needed me to love you and care for you and, the way you always tried to out preach Pastor Willis every Sunday Morning. My heart and prayers goes out to The Braxton and Spencer Families in the death of your love one. It's hard when you loses a adult but it's especially hard when you loses a baby! She is in Gods Hands and he will wrap and keep her until ya'll meet again. Be bless!
