It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rhoda S. Whytsell. Born on June 4, 1929, in Maryland, Rhoda peacefully left this world on June 29, 2024, in York, PA.
She is survived by her loving son Laurence Whytsell Jr. and daughter Donna Lloyd (husband Fred Lloyd). Wife to the late Lawrence W. Whytsell Sr. Rhoda was also a cherished grandmother to Shantel Breen, Malinda Keller, Danielle Lloyd, Chris McPherson, Joseph Mitchell, Nichole McPherson, and Shawn Breen, as well as a proud great-grandmother to Ariel, Hunter Mitchell, Raymond, Lauren, Brody Keller, Jayden, Tori Sumner, Dyson, Lillie McPherson, Gillian, and Caitlin Breen.
Her family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring Rhoda's memory at the upcoming funeral services. A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Wednesday July 3, 2024, from 11:00-12:30 pm. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place at the same location at 12:30 pm.
Rhoda will be laid to rest at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, 10201 Bird River Rd. Middle River, MD 21220, surrounded by those who cherished her most. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear. Rest in peace, Rhoda, you will be forever missed.
