Rhonda Patrice Connell Medford, 66, formerly of Ripley, peacefully entered the Church Triumphant on Sunday, February 16, 2025, in the comfort of her home in Chattanooga, TN. Rhonda was born on June 16, 1958, to Maxwell Eugene "Happy" and Dorothy Jane Esra Connell, with whom she shared a birthdate. She was an avid reader, puzzle worker, and yard saler. As an LPN, she served and loved all ages over the decades. In 1987, she met and married her lifelong partner, Gregory Wayne Medford, and was blessed with two children, Matthew Thomas Medford and Abigail Lee Roberts (Brandon). She had a unique zest for life that was all her own. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, two children, two brothers, Randy Connell, of Ripley, and Roger Connell (Laurie), of Germantown, her best friend, Mary Lynn Brackin, close friends David and Megan Messenger, along with three grandchildren, Noah, Ian, and Cate, an aunt, Bonnie Burnham, and mother-in-law, Evelyn Goforth.
A visitation will be held at Whitefield Assembly of God on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral will be on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Whitefield Assembly of God at 2:00pm with the family greeting guest an hour prior.
