Rhonda Laverne Paris Holycross, age 63, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born to Louan Pendley and the late Douglas Paris, Rhonda lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and commitment to those she loved. She was a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, Georgia, where her faith was a steady source of comfort and guidance.
Rhonda is survived by her devoted husband, Mike Holycross; her children, Felicia Harris, Jesse Locklear, and Nataly Fussell; her stepchildren, Michael and Ian Holycross; her mother, Louan Pendley; and her sister, Valerie Johnson. She is preceded in death by her father, Douglas Paris and her first husband, Kenneth "Donny" Harris.
Rhonda was an avid reader who could often be found with a mystery novel in hand. She loved British crime shows, had a lifelong affection for horses, completed the daily crossword puzzle to keep her mind sharp, and found joy in baking cakes for those around her. Her humor and quiet strength made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Above all, Rhonda was a warrior. She faced breast cancer with extraordinary courage for over 30 years, meeting every challenge with determination and bravery. Her strength and spirit will continue to inspire her family and friends for years to come.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Susan G. Komen or St. Vincent De Paul of Georgia.
