Rhonda Celesta Williams passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1st, 2025, in Virginia Beach, at the age of 74.
She was the cherished daughter of Paul N. Williams of Joplin, MO, and Celesta Williams (Carpenter) of Demorest, GA.
Rhonda was a proud mother to three daughters: Ashli Smyth (Carr), Tarra Secrest (Carr), and Karine Varga. Her daughters loved her fiercely through all of life's ups and downs, even during her toughest times. She was absolutely smitten with her four grandsons: Dylan Smyth (20), Finnlay Smyth (17), Jasper Secrest (11), and Charles Secrest (8), each of whom brought her endless joy and pride.
She shared a unique bond with her three sisters, Julie Williams, Patty Williams, and Rebecca Williams. Their relationships were filled with love, laughter, and stories only sisters can tell.
Though Rhonda's path was not without its challenges, her story serves as a testament to the enduring need for compassion and the hopeful pursuit of understanding and care for those who experience similar struggles. At her best, Rhonda was radiant, embodying kindness, generosity, and a vibrant spirit. She was a deeply artistic soul who found joy through all types of music, concerts, painting, pottery, flowers, gardening, and anytime she could get outside to be in nature, particularly the beach. Her creativity and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In the quiet of her passing, there is a belief that she has found peace. Her love, her artistic expressions, and the family she treasured will forever be woven into the fabric of lives.
