Ricardo was born on May 23, 1938 in Honduras to Ricardo and Ana Castellanos.
He received his law degree in the early 60s, and practiced law for over 30 years in Honduras while also serving as judge in several districts.
On May 19, 1963, he married Marta Bedoya. They raised two sons, Ricardo and Carlos, and two daughters, Marta and Giselle.
Ricardo was a very spiritual person and read the bible often and prayed several times a day while also attending mass service when possible.
He was also a music lover and listened to classical music and his favorite singer Augustin Lara.
He is survived by his wife Marta, his four children, Ricardo, Carlos, Marta and Giselle, and, his sisters Consuelo and Lydia and several cousins and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16th, 2022 at 11am at Saint John XXIII Catholic Church at 16800 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL 33027.

El domingo 10 de julio de 2022, Ricardo Castellanos, amado esposo y padre de cuatro hijos, falleció a los 84 años.
Ricardo nació el 23 de mayo de 1938 en Honduras de Ricardo y Ana Castellanos.
Recibió su título de abogado a principios de los años 60 y ejerció la abogacía durante más de 30 años en Honduras mientras también se desempeñaba como juez en varios distritos.
El 19 de mayo de 1963 se casa con Marta Bedoya. Criaron dos hijos, Ricardo y Carlos, y dos hijas, Marta y Giselle.
Ricardo era una persona muy espiritual y leía la Biblia a menudo y oraba varias veces al día mientras asistía al servicio de misa cuando era posible.
También amaba la musica y escuchaba música clásica y a su cantante favorito Agustín Lara.
Le sobreviven su esposa Marta, sus cuatro hijos, Ricardo, Carlos, Marta y Giselle Y, sus hermanas Consuelo y Lydia y varios primos y sobrinos.
El funeral se llevará a cabo el sábado 16 de julio de 2022 a las 11am en la iglesia católica Saint John XXIII en 16800 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL 33027.
