Mr. Richard Loyd Anderson age 72, of Pegram, TN. passed away on April 22, 2023, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.
Richard was born on June 19, 1950, to the late William “Bud” Tyrus Anderson and Margaret Marie Crowell Anderson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brother-in-law, Gary Johnson. Richard was an electrician where he worked for many years with Wolfe & Travis, Baptist Hospital and Harpeth Valley Utility District. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing an avid collector of Indian artifacts. He recently donated his collection that is now on exhibit at Pinson Mounds State Park, Jackson, TN. He was a quiet man that enjoyed a good practical joke. His greatest love was for his family and his beautiful bride Mitzi.
Survivors include his wife, Mitzi Anderson, siblings, Patty Johnson, Teresa (Donnie) Mosley, William (Bonita) Anderson and Joey (Becky) Anderson, seventeen nieces and nephews also twenty-nine great nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Richlawn Cemetery, 2400 Highway 13 North in Waverly, TN.
