Richard was so thoughtful and kind. He never missed sending a birthday card for the past 20 years and I will miss his written notes. He would tell me going to camp each year and was so happy with the new truck he bought. God bless Dottie for taking care of him and always being there for him .

I am so very sorry to hear this. Dick was such a nice man, he will be missed at the American Legion in Rumford by many. Dottie, my heart aches for you. I am thinking of you and his family. Sending hugs and love. Gloria Morton

I was fortunate that I had an opportunity to spend a lot of time with Uncle Dick. I loved that he was an "outdoor" person and that we liked some of the same activities. I have many memories of him, but my favorite is an adventure that we shared kayaking on the Androscoggin River with a fun group. We maneuvered through some rapids, stopped for lunch on a sandbar and shared a lot of laughs that day. I will miss him, but am thankful for the time we spent together.
