Richard Berry Obituary

Beloved husband of (the late) Helen (nee Roughneen). Devoted father of Richard J. and his wife Marta, Maureen Stofira & husband John and Elizabeth Brancaleone. Loving grandfather of Kate, Daniel, Dr. Alexandra, Richard, Shane and Isabella.
Richard proudly served, for 30 years, as a Supervising Special Agent for the FBI. He complemented his career working as a Private Investigator. He was a long-time (55 years) member of the River Edge Fire Department – Company 1; and a Former Chief. Richard was also an active member of St. Peter the Apostle RCC and an excellent neighbor to the Madison Avenue families. He especially was proud of his grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by his colleagues and his family.
Friends and family are invited for visitation this Saturday, October 11th from 9:30am – 11:30am at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00pm at St. Peter the Apostle RCC, River Edge. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the River Edge Fire Department, 695 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge, NJ 07661.
