Richard Lowell Burdeshaw, 63, of Dade City, Florida, passed away on October 16, 2025. He was born on July 26, 1962, in Clermont, Florida, to James Lowell Burdeshaw and Annie Drew Burdeshaw. Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and later worked for Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. A lifelong resident of Dade City, Richard was known for his kind, loving, and honest nature, as well as his sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, football, spending time with his dogs, being with family, and reading his Bible. Richard is survived by his mother, Annie Drew Burdeshaw; siblings, James Burdeshaw, Helen Castilleja, and Angela Lewis; and sixteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lowell Burdeshaw, and his siblings, Marie Gerner and Thomas Burdeshaw. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida. So sorry for the loss of such I great man I spoke with him many many times over the years he and my mom were together for 27 years he will be greatly missed and our many many conversations will for ever be a cherished memory rip Richard and thank you for loving and caring for my mom so so many years
