Richard Campbell Obituary
Richard "Jerry" Campbell, born on October 1, 1945, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on February 16, 2023. Jerry passed at his home surrounded by the love of his family.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Nannie Robertson Campbell, his father Richard Evelyn Campbell; great-grandson Brayden Cole Bogle and a special great niece Erika Stanley.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Macie Perdue Campbell; daughter Penny Overstreet (James), daughter Lisa Cook (Paul); special niece Kim Shipman; granddaughter Jessica Cottrell (Tony); great-grandchildren Hunter Bogle, Mason Smith, Kinsley Cottrell and Carter, Kayleigh, Karlee Niday; siblings Nancy Perdue, Davey Campbell (Robin) and Ricky Campbell; numerous other family members and friends. His family will be accepting flowers or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's or Parkinson Association.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Finley and Pastor Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 VA Market Place Drive, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
