Ricardo passed away Tuesday June 4, 2024 in Bernalillo NM at the age of 54. He was born
to Richard and Diana Chavez. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Chavez and
his grandson Jonah Lacour. Paternal Grandparents Rupe and Felipe Perea, Arsenio
Chavez. Maternal Grandparents Ramon and Frances Garduno. Ricardo is survived by his
Mother Diana Chavez, Daughters Vanessa Chavez, Naomi (Josh) Lacour, Chloe and Amelia.
Sisters Brenda (George) Barela, Michelle (Dwayne) Chavez, Mona (Andy) Klein, Dolores
Chavez, Veronica (Luis) Chavez. Brothers Abran (Rhonda) Chavez, David Chavez, And
Elias Chavez. Granddaughter's Nevaeh, Ida, Aliyah, and Emma. Grandsons Rian, Andre and
Devin. Many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Ricardo will be dearly missed if anyone knew him they new his passion for his fishing,
watching his favorite team the steelers and drawing.
Ricardo will be laid to rest on Wednesday June 26, 2024
Rosary at 9:30 a m - Funeral mass following at 10:00 a m at Our Lady of
Sorrows Church in Bernalillo. Burial to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery.
Reception to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Social Center.
