Richard (Ricky) Alan Cook, Jr
On October 4, 2025, our loving son and brother passed away, aged 37. Ricky was born to Sharon Jackman on Oct 19, 1987 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He was a brilliant young man with a beautiful spirit who loved deeply and loved life. He could light up a room just by showing up. He had a flair for bright crazy outfits and loved to entertain people. He had an uncanny ability to sound like the Croc Hunter and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Ricky was adventurous, loved sky diving, gymnastics (running up a tree and doing flips), climbing the dunes and doing flips all the way back down. He loved creating on his 3D printer, including flower bouquets, jewelry, and a new door handle for his stove.
Ricky loved his two dogs, Timon and Nala very much and took them everywhere. They would run next to him while he was on his electric skate board. He also loved games; golf, bowling, baseball, boating, fishing, tennis, dancing, playing guitar and singing, traveling and going to the Lions games. Music was his passion.
Ricky graduated from college and received a degree in electrical engineering. Initially he worked at GM as an electrical engineer and then transitioned to owning his own electrical business. He loved to travel, especially with his friends. He loved when he and his brothers all worked together on electrical jobs. Those were some of his favorite times.
Ricky is survived by his loving family including: Parents, Sharon (Tim) Jackman, brothers David Jacques and Daniel (Janna) Jacques and sister Jade (Dave) Ross. Nieces and Nephews Ashley (Cherlynn) Jacques; Noah Jacques; Katie (Tyler) Rexer; Aurora and Dean Rexer; Austin Jacques; Samantha Jacques; Kaylee Jacques; Brayden and Kinsley Ross.
Other loving aunts and uncles; Louise (Scott) Ideson; Audrey (Paul) Olmstead, Howard Dekkers, and members of Cook family.

Ricky was predeceased by his father, Richard Cook Sr.
