Richard Crocker Obituary
Richard was born November 4, 1935 in New Bedford Ma, he lived the majority of his life in Onset Ma. He is the son of the late Richard I. Crocker & Margaret E. (Billard) Crocker of Onset Ma. He graduated from Wareham High School, & took classesat Cape Cod Community College.
Richard served in the United States Army National Guard as SFC / E7 Crocker from 1953 to his retirement in 1995. He also served as a Firefighter for the Onset Fire Department from 1953 to his retirement in 2007. Richard also worked as a radio & tv master technician for Eggers Furniture Store in Middleboro Ma for many years.
He is survived by his younger sister Patricia L. Crocker of Wareham Ma, his sister Janice A. (Crocker) Draper & her husband James L. Draper of Royalston Ma, his brother Gene M. Crocker & his wife Linda R. (Bosworth) Crocker of Onset Ma, as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins.
He is predeceased by his younger brothers the late Bruce W. Crocker of Onset Ma, Glenn E. Crocker of Lowell Ma, & his great niece Samantha L. Gallagher Brown of Royalston Ma.
He was loved by so many, & will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
His funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham

Uncle Junior was the eldest Crocker son and my Father Bruce's brother. He was a very kind and gentle man who cared for his family & friends. I'll always remember him for gifting old-school McDonald's gift certificates to all the kids at holiday times. He was a Zenith/Quasar tv repairman as a side gig, a volunteer firefighter for Onset FD for many years as well an Army Guard reservist. He was always kind and patient with me, and would answer the myriad of questions I would ask him. He loved snowmobile riding. Sorry that I didn't get to spend more time as a youngster with him as I also love outdoor power sports. He lived with and took great care of his Mother, Margaret "Grandma Crocker" for all his life as I remember it.
