Happy birthday, Dick, and thank you again for being such a loyal friend over so many years, starting at Saint Mary's College in January 1958 when we first met on campus. I remain deeply grateful for our friendship and for the values we shared for our Catholic education and for the de LaSalle Christian Brothers who meant so much to both of us. My wife and I also send blessings of peace and all good to your wonderful wife, Marianne, and to your entire family. Saint John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us!

My wife and I extend heartfelt condolences to Marianne, all Drogosz family members and friends who were fortunate to know Dick as the caring person he always was. Dick and I were classmates at Saint Mary's College where shortly after my arrival on campus he approached me about becoming involved in the National Federation of Catholic College Students which he then served as its senior representative as a member of the student commission. I eagerly accept-ed his invitation which marked the beginning of a friendship that I have valued to this day, for I soon came to realize that Dick was one of the most genuinely caring individuals I had ever met and with whom I shared many common interests, including a dedication to the De LaSalle Christian Brothers at Saint Mary's, and in later years, to the San Miguel Middle Schools started by the Christian Brothers for disadvantaged students, which Dick and Marianne were very committed to supporting at its Back of the Yard campus in Chicago. It was truly by the grace of God that I met Dick, for which I will always be thankful.

Great memories playing golf with Dick, his friend Bob and his son Bill. I'm sure he will be missed by many.
