Richard "Six Pack" Duben, 71, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2024. Rick was a lifelong car guy – he loved stock car racing, car shows, building models, and working on his '72 chevy.
Rick was always caught up on current events and would often find him watching the history channel. He also liked to cook and bake, often sharing his creations with family and friends.
Rick grew up in Green Bay, and was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, before starting his career at Proctor & Gamble. He enjoyed spending all the holidays together as a family with grandchildren, his daughters, sons-in-law and ex-wife, Sue. Rick loved his family and was a proud caretaker of his mother, Sylvia.
Rick is survived by his daughters, Rickie (James) Decker and Jennie (Troy) Streckenbach; grandchildren, George Streckenbach, Henry Streckenbach, Josephine Streckenbach, Thalia Decker; brother, Dan Duben; and ex-wife, Sue Duben.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sylvia Duben; sisters, Margie Dart (Duben) and Jane Drew (Duben); sister-in-law, Rita Duben and beloved companion dog, Morgan.
Services for Rick will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services - East Town location, 2379 E Mason Street, Friday September 27 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a service to follow.
Family would like to thank Davita Dialysis for caring for him for the past few years.
