Richard T., (Rick) (Ricky) Falconer II, 71, of McDonald Washington County died on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in his home.
He was born October 13, 1953, in Pittsburgh PA, the eldest son of the late Richard T. Falconer and eldest son of Dorothy Pardonek Falconer, of Oakdale who survives him.
Also surviving is his loving wife of 16 years, Nancy Johnston Falconer.
Daughter, Jennifer M. Pfender (Christopher) and two grandchildren Ethan and Mason Pfender reside in Florida. Richard always eager to talk about them and enjoyed showing pictures to others of his grandchildren.
Surviving, brother Robert A. (Julie) Falconer of Imperial and Craig W. (Betty) Falconer of Oakdale, Sister, Rebecca S. Partin (Gene) of McDonald, Michelle Smith of Cecil, Brother-in-law, Thomas C. Johnston (Sandi) of Moon Township and Sister-in-law, Carole (Mike) Knezevich of Washington State, Brother-in- law Clarence T. (Kathy) Hawk, of South Park, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also Survivies is his mother-in-law, Lucy J. Hawk of McDonald.
Close in heart and always embracing as family, Brian J. (Dawn) Delaney, Craig J. (Becca) Delaney, Keith R. (Heather) Delaney, their children and grandchildren, enjoying 16 years of holidays, dinner outings, attending events, camping and many other family functions.
Richard worked for McKnight Property Management 19 years retiring in January 2022. Richard had a long full career working in construction and plumbing. He held a masters Plumbers license issued by Allegheny County PA Health Department.
Richard was an outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, canoeing, camping, cruises and travel. He enjoyed riding his Harley, enjoyed seeing new places, and talking about his dog Moose.
Richard was an avid caver, exploring different caves with others and enjoyed volunteering at Mammoth National Park, Kentucky when opportunity arose. For several years he was an active member of the National Speleological Society.
Once Richard retired, he enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels in McDonald both in the kitchen and as a deliverer. He also enjoyed volunteering for the McDonald Food Bank.
He will always be remembered in our hearts as a Strong, kind, loving and gentle man.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations should be made out to Meals on Wheels, 119 Station Street, McDonald, PA 15057.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800). A Service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will occur at a later date at Robinson Run Cemetery.
