I worked with Keith (Bubba) Fuller at 222-S labs starting in 1994. He was one of my favorite Chemists. Keith was a vast vault of knowledge and could analyze and conquer any issues we were confronted in the lab. He always had a smile for everyone and was a joy to work with. As you've read before he was an avid runner and Coach Bubba at Richland High.
We road in the same Vanpool for many years and that where he'd talk about his ski trips and daily life away from work. Keith was a wonderful person and I know he is resting well in peace after a life well lived.
My heart felt condolences and prayers for peace over his blessed mother, family and friends.

Bubba, Was my manager at 222-S for a year or so before I got transferred to the WSCF the other Hanford Lab in 2003. During the time he was my manager he told me that he was running a half marathon every night after work. He had a 13 mile course through Richland that he ran. I also remember that he would buy his shoes for running 3-6pair at a time. I retired November 2024 and the sample break down diagrams Bubba master mind are still in use and are still called Bubba grams. The last time I was in 222S room 2B where all the samples ready for analysis are stored there was a sharpie written sign on the wall "Bubba was here" Yes I do believe it was in reference to Keith "Bubba" Fuller. His funny nickname for me was Delbert. Sometimes Delbear.
Sorry for your loss. Robert Meyers

Keith helped me for years and years with the Richland High School cross-country teams and the distance runners in track in the spring. His talents and knowledge of running and racing helped me be a better coach, and the runners loved him. He would run with the kids, show up at their meets, and be an encouraging person to both me and them. I and the runners looked forward to seeing him. He was "Bubba" to all the runners, and he always had a smile on his face and an interest in their success. His efforts helped our 1993 girls team become the Washington State Cross-Country Champions as well as our boys teams reach high state placings, too. Thank you, Bubba. His legacy for helping and caring distance runners will always be in the hearts and minds of those runners he helped, including me. Rest in Peace, dear friend. You had a positive impact on many people. You will always be remembered.

I am so sorry to here of Keith's passing. I worked at Hanford with him for many years. He had a way of making work be more fun. He had funny nick names for alot of us. My first name is Jann and he called me Jammers, I'm not sure why, it was just funny. My condolences to his family, I'm so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Keith for many years at Hanford at the 222S Lab. He was a joy to work with, and a brilliant chemist. For some reason he was known at the lab as "Bubba" (probably because he was the antithesis of our stereotype of a Texan). He devised a way to track samples, sub samples, etc. We called them "Bubbagrams". To my knowledge, these charts are still called that. He made quite an impression on our organization & in our hearts.
May he rest in God's eternal peace. Deepest condolences to the family.
