Richard spent numerous years working as a contractor and making many friends in Muskegon, MI. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. He was quite the practical joker and loved to entertain his friends and family and talk politics with them.
Surviving is his children, Richard Isaiah J Alexander Geister of Traverse City and Ila Joy Geister of Big Rapids; mother, Bonnie Young of Mesick; sisters, Joy (Jerry) Thornton of Traverse City and Brenda Geister of Mesick as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of Richard's life held at Robinson Park in Ionia on Saturday, May 18th at 2:00 PM. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com
