Richard Gosselin, Sr. Obituary
Richard A. Gosselin, Sr., 75 of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, died February 16, 2024, at home with his family. He was the husband of Mary (Phillips) Gosselin whom he married July 30, 1966. Born in Woonsocket, RI. He was the son of the late Bertha (Rivers) Laquerre and the son of the late Rene Lefrancois.
Mr. Gosselin worked for CVS Warehouse, Woonsocket, RI for many years and Dennisons Warehouse in Framingham, MA for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a love for sports, especially the Yankees. During family gatherings, he was the life of the party.
Along with his wife, Mary, he is survived by 4 children, Lisa Lachapelle and her husband Bruce of Burriville, RI, Sandra Bonollo and her husband Nello of Uxbridge, MA, Leslie Desrosiers and her husband Matthew of Millville, MA, and Richard Gosselin, Jr., of Burriville, RI and seven grandchildren, Chantel, Paige, Breanna, Angelia, Paige, Matthew Jr., Richard and Alex and two great grandchildren, Alivia and Harper as well as his siblings, Theresa Desplechin, Rachel Gosselin, Joyce Boxhold and the late Gerard Gosselin.
The last several months he was cared for by HopeHealth Hospice (Valerie Toure and Carol Bailey) who truly gave him the upmost care and truly cared for him.
A Memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a gift to the American Lung Association in Richard's memory. https://action.lung.org/
