Mr. Hedrick was born April 20, 1939 to the late Arthur Lee Hedrick and Frances Hunt English.
He had retired from the maintenance department of the former PPG Industries. He was preceded in death by brothers Rayvon, Roy, and Robert Hedrick, and sister Mary Hedrick Scarlett.
Surviving are son Richard Hedrick, Jr. (Wanda) of Southmont; step-daughter Windey Cody of Emerald Isle; grandson Steven Jolly, and great-granddaughter Solaris Jolly.
Piedmont Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hedrick family.
