Richard Helfinstine Obituary
Mr. Helfinstine had been a chef at the Dayton Racket Club and the General Denver. He had also owned the Breakfast Club in Wilmington.
Mr. Helfinstine is survived by his husband, Robert C. Peelle and his brother, Ralph L. Helfinstine Jr. of Dayton, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Rusty Collins and Randy Helfinstine.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. The funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 2, 2026. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
