FULTON-- Richard Hubbard, 59, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born January 3, 1966 to the late Clarence Edward Hubbard and the late Addie Sanders Hubbard in Arkansas. Richard was a gifted gourmet chef whose passion for food led him to work in various esteemed restaurants throughout his career. Known for his creativity in the kitchen and his dedication to his craft, he brought joy to many through his cooking and left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working with him. Beyond his culinary talents, Richard found great joy in music and was a devoted fan of wrestling and football. Whether he was sharing stories about his favorite matches or relaxing to his favorite tunes, Richard's enthusiasm and warmth were always present.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday May 29, 2025, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry George officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday May 29, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hubbard of Fulton; daughters, Savannah Hubbard of Birmingham, Tiffany Williams of Tremont, Jessica (Billy) Westbrook of Tremont, and Samantha Williams of Fulton; son, Adam (Amy) Pettigo of Fulton; 13 grandchildren; sister, Connie (Henry Shuler) Hubbard of Hueytown; and brother, Johnny (Kelly) Hubbard of Jasper, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Addie Hubbard, and brother in law, Tommy Merchant.
Pallbearers will be Joey Nix, Jerry Comer, John Hubbard, James Hubbard, Billy Westbrook, and Jimmy Jones.
