Richard (Rick) Eugene Kempfer Jr., age 61, of White Pine, TN passed away unexpectedly at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital in Morristown on the morning of April 2, 2025. Richard was born in Ripon, WI to Phyllis and Richard Kempfer Sr. on April 27, 1963.Richard was a 14 year veteran of the United States Army and Army Reserves. He most recently was employed for several years at Iconex Paper in Morristown, TN in a manufacturing position. Richard was a kind, loving, hard-working man. He was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He enjoyed working on his vehicles, riding motorcycles, working in his yard and garden, and spending time with his many grandchildren whom he absolutely adored. He is preceded in death by his mother Phyllis, and his life partner Annita "Lacey" Moore. He is survived and dearly missed by his father Richard Sr., Sister Laura (Dan), Brothers Gregory and Brian, Son Richard III (Heather), Daughter Amber, Grandsons Perrin, Tanner, Noah, Avian, Silas, and Keegan, and granddaughters Layla, Kairi, Cadence, Destiny, and Lilly, Loyal dog Echo, and cat Nova.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in Farrar Funeral Home Chapel, White Pine, Tennessee.
