Richard Thomas Kingston, 96, Prairie Drive, Plover, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Richard will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 28, 2025, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church , 3200 Plover Road, Plover. Rev. Arturo Vigueras will officiate. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Pallbearers will be William Kingston, Chad Kingston, Noah Kingston, Josh Slivicke, Mark Herrin, Adam Kingston, Darrick Kingston and Isaac Premus. Pisarski Community Funeral Home of Plover is honored to be serving the Kingston Family.
He was born March 21, 1929 in Wisconsin Rapids to the late John and Ella (McLain) Kingston. He attended St. Peter and Paul Catholic School and Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids.
Richard was married to Clarice J. Petersen on October 22, 1955 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore.
He worked at Consolidated Papers Inc in Biron, WI from 1948 until his retirement in 1990.
Richard enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing in Canada, training dogs and horses and travel. He was a member of St. Bronislava Catholic Church since 1960.
Survivors include seven daughters , Lauri (Phil) Herrin of Waterloo, Patricia (Dennis) Dulske of Waupaca, JoAnn (James) Slivicke of Bevent, Charlene (Leon) Zick of Stevens Point, Sara (Paul) Premus of
Amherst, Sharon Kingston of Wausau, and Amy (Ken) Steffens of Chicago; four sons, Kenneth Kingston of Wisconsin Rapids, Michael (Judy) Kingston of Plover, Thomas (Terri) Kingston of Wisconsin Rapids and
Ronald (Faith) Kingston of Cody, WY; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clarice Kingston, parents John and Ella Kingston; nine sisters and three brothers, and two grandchildren, Virginia Dulske and Nathaniel Dulske.
