EAST BROOKFIELD: Richard L. "Ricky" LaPorte, Jr., 24, of E. Brookfield, died Tuesday, Aug. 19th in Charlton as the result of sustaining injuries in a motorcycle accident.
He leaves his parents; Richard "Rick" and Lori (Howe) LaPorte, Sr. with whom he lived, his sisters: Angela V. Rainsford and her husband Lee of Charlton, Nicole A. LaPorte of E. Brookfield and Gabrielle M. LaPorte and her fiancé Ronald Denson of Warwick, RI., his grandmother; Diane Blais and her husband Roland of Brookfield, his predeceased grandparents Robert LaPorte Sr., Ruth LaPorte, and Richard Howe Sr., his nieces and nephews; Haley, Ethan, Larissa, Camden, Lauryn, Dylan, Brody, Izabella, RJ and Penny and many cousins.
Ricky was a pharmacy technician at UMASS Memorial Hospital, University Campus in Worcester for the past 2 years.
He was born in Worcester and later graduated from David Prouty High School in 2019 and received his bachelor's degree shortly after from Anna Maria College in Paxton in 2023.
Funeral services for Ricky will be held on Monday, August 25th at 11 a.m. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, E. Brookfield. Calling hours are from 2 - 5 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home.
