Richard Jerome Lynch, of AuGres, formerly a resident of Munger, passed away peacefully at MyMichigan Hospital in Midland on Saturday, July 5, 2025, age 70 years. Richard was born on December 31, 1954 in Bay City to Francis and Helen (Richard) Lynch. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice Lynch, to whom he married on April 6, 2002. Also surviving are their children, Jason and Tamra Comer, Jamie and Leah Comer, and Sarah Comer; 5 grandchildren, Brooklynn Westendorf, Gavin Comer, Clair Rupp, Cole Rupp, and Conner Rupp; 1 brother, Dale and Gail Lynch; 4 sisters, Colleen Plain, Catherine Wazny, Molly and John Militello, and Bonnie Lynch. Richard is preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen and Francis Lynch; and a brother, Mike Lynch. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and his family will host a celebration of his life on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral Home in AuGres, Michigan. Those wishing to express their condolences through a memorial donation in Richard's honor, are encouraged to consider a contribution to either the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice in his name.
