Richard Michael Mendenhall, known as "Mikey" or "Richy" to all who knew and loved him, was born on January 10, 2008, aged 14, to father Richard Mendenhall Sr.
Mikey unexpectedly passed surrounded by his family. Mikey was third born of Richard, following his two older sisters Kristina Michelle Mendenhall, and Kiely Melissa Mendenhall. Following his birth came Makayla Mendenhall, and Maximus Hunter Mendenhall.
Mikey was raised in Franklin ID during the first few years of life before relocating to Ogden, Ut with his family.
Mikey was an extraordinary kid who loved Fortnite, fishing, shooting targets, visiting car shows, and skateboarding with his friends and family. Mikey was a very kind soul who respected everyone he met.
Mikey made the selfless decision to donate his organs to help other children in need. Mikey became a "superhero" to others on May 10, 2022. His selfless act saved four others. His donation contributed of his kidneys, liver, and heart.
Mikey was a bright spirit that was taken too soon. He will be missed by all who met him.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday May 20, 2022, at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
