Colton Shane Beardall, known to many as Colt or Colt-a-gak, was a beacon of creativity, compassion, and love, lighting up the lives of those around him. Born on April 11th, 1996, in Provo, Utah, Colton was a multi-talented, vibrant soul who left an indelible mark on the world. His passion for life was contagious and his spirit, unforgettable.

Colton was a man of many talents and interests. A book lover at heart, he dreamt of having his own library, often found with a hardback book in hand, his favorite being the original Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. A talented musician, he played the guitar and many other instruments, including the Ocarina, all self-taught. A lover of games, anime, and outdoor activities, Colton brought joy and excitement to every gathering. An expert target shooter, Colton's love for sport shooting was only parallel to his fascination with planes. He could identify each model with precision, always eager to share his knowledge. An Eagle Scout, Colton found great peace in the outdoors, whether he was engaging in activities or simply sitting in the mountains. He was also a gifted cook, often preparing Asian dishes, reflecting his admiration for Japanese culture. At the heart of all his hobbies and interests, was his love for his family. Treasured uncle to his nieces and nephews, he was the heartbeat of family gatherings. Many family members still wrap themselves in the warmth of the blankets he made for them, a testament to his caring nature.

Colton was a man who lived by the words of Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Survived by his parents, John and Alison Beardall, siblings Melissa (Spencer) Stockton, Cody (Erin) Beardall, Casey (Jason) Tom, Dana (Scott) Pickle, Christopher (Diana) Tom, John (Malaea) Lednisky, and their families, Colton's legacy is one of love, joy, and compassion. His beautiful singing voice, his passion for life, and his loving heart will forever be remembered by those who were lucky enough to have known him.

We invite those who knew Colton to share their memories, stories, and photographs on his memorial page as a tribute to his life and the joy he brought to others. May these shared moments offer comfort and spark smiles, just as Colton did throughout his life.

While being the light in the family and enjoying many aspects of life, Colton did suffer immensely from Chronic illness and struggled with mental health. His whole family wishes he would have made the choice to reach out to any of us, or anyone in general, before he made the choice to take his own life.
