Richard Mog Obituary
Richard was a man of remarkable dedication and community spirit. He was the devoted husband of Joann Mog for 57 wonderful years, and together they built a life centered on faith and family. Richard proudly retired from Lincoln Electric after dedicating 35 years of hard work to the firm.
His passions were as diverse as they were heartfelt. A pillar of the local arts community, Richard was a proud and active member of the Mt. Carmel Players theatre group for 35 years. He served on the board and spent countless hours backstage building scenes and ensuring every production was a success.
Richard also had a lifelong love for automotive craftsmanship. He enjoyed "tinkering" on cars and took immense pride in his '67 and '84 Corvettes. He found peace in the outdoors-whether he was meticulously cutting his grass, enjoying a camping trip, or taking his annual winter travels to Florida.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Joann; his children, David Mog and Christine (Mark) Munoz; and his cherished grandchildren, Calli, Cailyn, Zachary, and Jessica. He also leaves behind his sisters, Carol Clark and Nancy (Bob) Wrana.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Mog, and his brother-in-law, Walter Clark.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave, Wickliffe, OH 44092. Richard will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
