Richard James Peters, better known as 'Jim' (Little Jim Flea), age 70 of Shawano, passed on into eternity on Sunday, July 13th, 2025. Jim was born in Keshena, WI on June 30th, 1955, to the late Orvis 'Jim Flea' Peters and Patricia (Shivner) Peters. One of his favorite bible verses was Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
Jim is survived by his wife of 24 years, Katy; 6 daughters, Meleah Peters, Yvonne Peters, Rachel (Dustin) Peters, Melvina (Luke) Laubenstein, Stepdaughters, Sam Himel, Tonya (James) Johnson. His beloved grandchildren, Layla Laubenstein, Melvin Tourtillott, Stella Laubenstein, River Macintosh, Lake Macintosh, Dani Loomis, Jamison Johnson, Dustin Tourtillott Jr, Robert Tourtillott, and Kariahna Tourtillott. He is further survived by his sisters, Karen Peters, Janice Peters, Lynn Collins, Doreen Ebben, Patricia Peters, and Jodi Peters, his brothers, George Peters, John Peters, and Joe Peters, and his Aunt Donnie Peters. I Corinthians 15:54 "So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall put on immorality, then shall be to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."
