Richard S. Pflug, age 77, of Tipp City, passed away on July 22, 2024. He was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on September 26, 1946 to the late Clarence & Mary Louise Pflug.
He retired from Corning Inc. and then later from Priority Dispatch, where he was a courier. He served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving father and grandpa Steve. He enjoyed putting Legos together or playing Chutes & Ladders with his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a die-hard Brown's fan and loved to watch the games. Steve also loved his country and life so much. His presence and his love will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Pflug; mother of his children: Mary Rose Lodge (Mike); his children: Kristy Jackson (James), Bradley Pflug (Ashley) and Lisa Pflug; grandchildren: Kyle Pflug, Jake Pflug, Kelsey Pflug, and Trey Jackson; his sister, Mary Anne Bratton (Greg); nieces, Tracey Kubik (James) & Julie Hollander (Justin); and too many more family and friends to count.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at New Point Church, 626 W National Rd., Vandalia, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve's memory may be made to New Point Church in Vandalia or to The American Cancer Society.
