He was born on December 1, 1981, in Panama City, Florida. He was the son of Richard Dennis Shields Sr and Lorie Colleen Shields. Didn't know Rich for too long but the time that did get to be around him will always be memorable. I knew that Rich had a kind heart and always knew how to put others before himself. Very selfless. There was no doubt that Rich loved his family, he would always talk about his brothers and his mom. Mom always came first in Rich's heart. You were a good dude Rich and your kind ways will always be a memory that I will take with me and continue to use in my life....Your Friend Rusty.
